Course in good condition. Nice little clubhouse. Reasonably priced food.
Good place for a party. You may have to be a member of the golf club to book. Very reasonable prices

Plenty of machines, never a problem getting on. I haven't tried the classes but they seem popular. For what I need which is access to machines whenever I want it fits the bill at the price
Great location, helpful staff. Never too busy. Monthly membership not to expensive

Gets a nice crowd in although obviously can be busy during peak times. So go early or late if you prefer to work out in less crowded gym.
Great value for what you get. Could do with a/some better chest machines but as it is a fitness oriented gym there is not a focus on weight training so a good gym for overall fitness and light-medium weight training.

Fantastic gym. Staff are all nice, 24 hour function is wonderful. Most patrons well mannered and serious. Great location and facility at an incredibly competitive price. Equipment is all well maintained and new. Only criticism would be that I'd prefer more bench press benches, as there are only two.
Great price for gym membership, and available 24/7. Can get pretty busy as it is fairly small but for the price and city centre location can't expect anything else, have sometimes just ended my routine and left instead of waiting for a machine as it can be ages, especially if you go around 'rush hour' (4-7pm). Clean and well lit. The middle toilet in the ladies is pretty much always clogged with loo roll!

Overall good customer service, no problems with the facilities. Could do with music throughout the centre (changing rooms and corridors) but satisfied. OH, and the student membership; AWESOME! Thank you for making it more affordable! Love it!
Great soft play for kids of all ages up to bout 9, go regular as daughter loves it

Nice modern gym equipment, pool, sauna and steam room. Spacious changing rooms, but a lack of private showers is very odd for a gym. You have to stand and press a button and the water pressure is so poor you might as well wash under a dripping tap! One member of the reception staff "Susan" is really quite rude in her manner of speaking and dealing with people. In a customer service industry surely being attentive, kind and helpful should be standard, especially when membership is far from the cheapest in the area. All the other staff are really helpful, but she is one of the first faces you see and frankly it could put people off.
Good leisure centre, I use the gym the most. Recently refurbished and plenty of machines for the amount of people there. Always kept clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Proper swimming pool, partly sectioned off with lanes for serious swimmers. Separate fun pool for children with fountain and water jets as well as another very shallow pool for tiny children. There are also flumes and a steam room and sauna which I didn't use. My only complaint is that the showers were a bit too hot for my young granddaughter. Apart from that, this is one of the best pools I have been to.
me pal walked through smoking a joint it was pretty cool

Went for the MEW wrestling show that is on every couple of months. The show was packed out as always and showcased the local northern wrestling talent. The bar was very busy but well priced and service with a smile despite the queues. Would definitely recommend going to watch this excellent wrestling show.
Nice club and great entertainment. Staff attitude was a bit strange. Think the fella had had a bad day or maybe prefers it when it’s quiet rather than busy wit an event and full of “outsides”. Unfortunately clubs can’t survive on locals propping up the bar.

We went for the 37p wing deal, available Wednesday's and Friday's. The wings were surprisingly meaty and there was a lot of types to choose from but most of them were spicy / salty and so I think the selection could be more varied. Drinks are not cheap but expected for a hotel bar in its location however with the wing deal the overall bill was under 30 for 3 people. The round booth table we sat at was tight and not at all comfortable, did not leave a lot of room especially for a larger fella like me. Overall good but would not make it a regular.
This is a really strange aquarium. There’s an elaborate drinks reception before they take you to visit the sea creatures, which lots of shouting people went to. Everyone was so amped up for visiting the fish! It probably lasted a bit too long because I ended up having a lot of pre-fish drinks and it made me miss the start of the tour. I tried to get through the doors at the back but people kept stopping me so it must have been an entourage-only deal. I did a few laps of the place while I waited for another guide and took in the sights. There was an overwhelming presence of lads swallowing identical pints. I approached one of the groups and asked about the fish. “I can drink like a fish”, one of them screamed at me in response, his eyes pointing at different parts of the ceiling. He’d clearly got way too worked up so I left him to it. All of the TVs had football on which I thought was a lamentable waste of an opportunity to whet our appetites for aquatic goings-on with some well-placed fish footage. The really smart thing to do would be put on clips of fish that live at the aquarium so that when you go in you get to meet famous sea life from TV. Some particularly sadistic people had cooked fish brought out to their table. I assume they were at the end of the tour and this was a situation similar to when you get to the end of a museum and they bottleneck you in the gift shop while you look for the exit, except instead of yo-yos and mini versions of the exhibits you get offered the aquariums ex-residents. Or maybe when you’re enjoying the fish and you spot one you really like the look of the staff give you the option to take it to the next level. I didn’t actually get around to visiting the fish tanks or trying the eponymous Shark Bars, but did watch two soaking wet men attack each other which pretty much satisfied my desire to see something get bitten.
